Rental Operations/Equipment Services - Trucks and Trailers

Perth

We are looking for a motivated person to join our Perth branch as a Rental Operations/Equipment Services coordinator looking after our trucks and trailers.

The role will be a critical part of our operational team, working Monday-Friday, generally between the hours of 7am to 5pm.

This role will play a big part in our operations - ranging from moving gear around the yard, delivering vehicles to customers and suppliers, dehiring our equipment and being our face to the customer with enquiries - problem solving and getting behind the computer to get a hire out. The role would really suit someone who loves the transport industry, who is keen to both build customer relationships and also not afraid to get their hands dirty.

Here’s a list of the type of work you could expect on any given day:

  • Customer service - Quoting customer enquiries - answering queries and problem solving where we can.
  • Relationship building, our customers are our priority, and having a strong relationship with them is important to us to make sure we are meeting and exceeding expectations of our customers.
  • Rental contracts, paperwork and contract management - Assisting customers with insurance and payment.
  • From time to time you will need to get out there and help get our gear ready for pick up, washing and detailing of vehicles - ensuring our vehicles are looking their best!
  • Completing maintenance and repair reporting as required (light bulbs, mudflaps etc)
  • HR/MC License would be ideal as there is tuck/Tug driving: including moving vehicles around the yard, picking up and dropping off hire equipment from customer and/or supplier sites when needed.
  • Being first point of contact to greet our customers when they arrive to pick up / drop off vehicles - helping to make sure our customers feel comfortable onsite, and well looked after.

What you will bring to the table:

    • Ability to follow process and be detailed in your work
    • Great system and computer skills - We use a few systems at TR so knowing your way around a computer is a must.
    • Team attitude, we are a smaller branch and often get stuck in and help each other out - this is key to being successful.
    • Sound work ethic and a can-do attitude
    • A continuous improvement mindset
    • Strong sense of personal responsibility and ownership
    • A HR drivers’ license would be ideal, however training would be available for the right person.

But what do you get out of working with TR Group?

  • We are a team with a mentality of “OneTR” working together to achieve excellent results for ourselves and our customers. Our values speak to who each and every one of us are. We are dedicated to the personal growth of our team, whether that's new ways of thinking, doing or simply getting out of the everyday to work on yourself - which all in all makes for a better experience for our customers. You can expect to learn and develop both personally and professionally, and we believe that the better person you are at home, the better person that comes to work. It’s not just a job.
